Sex Transmutation
In 1937, Napoleon Hill interviewed people who not only survived the Great Depression, he found people who thrived. It is no secret that his theory that “thoughts become things,” is still being used in businesses of all sizes. Nearly every Abraham Hicks video you watch repeats this message. Law of Attraction is never mentioned in Think and Grow Rich but the theory is the same.
What isn’t so well known are the theories surrounding sex energy and money. The mystery of sex transmutation is so much more than meets the eye. What Hill found by interviewing the wealthy people he met is that a strong sex drive was part of nearly every person’s success story. Here is how he defines the kind of mental stimulation it takes to gain wealth:
“The human mind responds to stimuli, through which it may be “keyed up” to high rates of vibration, known as enthusiasm, creative imagination, intense desire, etc. The stimuli to which the mind responds most freely are:”
- The desire for sex expression
- Love
- A burning desire for fame, power, or financial gain, MONEY
- Music
- Friendship between either those of the same sex or those of the opposite sex
- A Mastermind alliance based upon the harmony of two or more people who ally themselves for spiritual or temporal advancement.
- Mutual suffering, such as that experienced by people who are persecuted
- Auto-suggestion
- Fear
- Narcotics and alcohol
As you can see, not all of these types of stimulating the brain are delicious, right? Masterminds are excellent manifesting tools. Isn’t it interesting that Hill rates them as the 6th best manifesting tool? He is clear with his report of the research that he did at a time when most of the world lost all hope, all money and some even jumped off buildings in despair.
The number one way to distract the human monkey mind is sex. Sex feels good, duh. It is impossible to worry when you are turned on. When you are sexually fulfilled, Hill theorizes that energy is sensed by other people and that it is your sexual confidence that draws people to you like a magnet.
Imagine in 1937, in a very religious country teaching that being highly sexed (i.e. having sexual energy) but not giving in to any and all desires is the key to success. What does it mean, “not giving in to any and all desires?” Is it possible to “steer” the mind using sex energy? How do you focus sex energy into your finances, career or relationships consciously?
Can anyone learn to transmute sex energy?
Of course, however….and this is a big however, you have to have sexual energy flowing freely before you can transmute it. Remember I mentioned that bit about living in a religious based culture? It is true that having a sex-positive discussion is not for everyone.
You may be someone who feels secretly terrified to be exposed for how naive and childlike your thoughts about sex are.

You may have been roughed up sexually by a bully or two as you grew up, that is sure true for me. It took years to reclaim my own sexual energy for me. I continue to be fascinated by this topic.
