There is an answer.

Find Your Core Desire

That is a really good question?

Do you know the answer to it? Just kidding. Not.

Finding a Core Desire can be tricky. What is it you want in your deepest core? If you don’t know, who does? You can’t depend on a coach or teacher to find it for you, right?

When Napoleon Hill talked about a “burning desire” in Think and Grow Rich, I think this might be what he was talking about. If an intention is rooted into a deep to the bone core level of you, maybe that is the key to manifesting quickly. There is no question that some people seem to manifest more easily than others. But why?

This brings me to one of my favorite Manifesting Tools. I learned it in a writing class years ago. I call it Right Hand/Left Hand Journaling. I love it because it outsmarts the analyzing part of my brain for a minute and lets an insight sneak in.

I allow my non dominant hand to have a voice in a hand written conversation. I like to have a different color pen/marker/crayon for each hand. I start with my dominant hand and ask my non dominant hand how things are going.

Then I switch hands and (Wait, I have to take a Cupid Shuffle Break not kidding. I need reminders to find something fun to do during covid and this week it is Cupid Shuffle Breaks.) Where was I? Oh, yeah. I call my Dominant Hand Big C and my non dominant hand little c. Then I let the conversation unfold.

If you are like me, it may feel awkward at first, kind of fake. Hang in there. This is a great way to slow down and explore yourself in a new way. What do you want at your core? What have you been waiting for the longest? Are you willing to follow where those questions go?

With this journaling technique, you may find surprising insights. I know I did. Here is a template you can follow.

What I won’t try to manifest better!

I invite you to give it a try. Ask yourself, why you want what you want. Listen in and follow the template. It goes like this:

Big You: Why do you want that?

little you: Because…………… (you write whatever comes to your mind with your non dominant hand. Even and especially if it feels weird. Just let yourself accomplish writing it down.)

Big You: Uh huh, and why is that important?

little you: Write what comes. Wait if you need to. (Listening to something like this is helpful Music for Inspiration. I am listening to it right now.)

Big You: And if you don’t get that, why would that bother you?

little you: write what comes. Notice if you get frustrated or annoyed when you need to write slowly or sloppily. Notice if your breathing changes. Relax. Take a breath.

Big You: And why does that bother you?

little you: write what comes

Big You: Why does that bother you?

Keep going back and forth until you get to the very bottom of it. Where there are no more answers. Take a deep breath and reflect on the experience. Dr. Daniel Siegel in his book, Mindsight, talks about integration being the holy grail of balanced functional brains. Somehow integrating past life emotional dramas through the lens of both sides of the brain brings people to higher life functioning.(I geek out over brain science, I know, a little weird I know.)

But if you are stuck and not getting something to manifest, this specific exercise may tickle the brain just enough to jar some manifesting juice up for you. Give it a try and let us know how it works out for you. If you have been waiting for years for something to manifest, that is something to look at. If the desire is not born from your Core, maybe that explains the delay!
