I do specific things as soon as I notice I am out of whack and focused on someone’s misfortune or other person’s suffering. This is a brand new skill.

I never realized the difference. Memories of past times have been visiting during all this time with no hugs, no dating, no dancing in fun crowded bars. Feelings have been coming up too and I have been crying more than usual. That is not easy for me to admit. Being on my own for six years now, I am a tough cookie, ok, some call me a ball breaking bitch.

Now all this time alone is changing me.  It’s just like working in my garden right now. My memories are encouraging me to loosen and yank out the overly strong reactions I am noticing in myself when I am talking to different people. Can you relate? I need to be strong. But I don’t need to be a speck stronger than is necessary for the situation.

My garden is very stubborn and I have to work hard to get the weeds out of the hard ground. I am the very same way. Some old memories and the people who starred in the drama are still making me react stronger than I need to.

Because I write and teach about manifesting, I have lots to do and it helps keep my mind focused and not worried. I am learning new ideas all the time to keep myself in my lane (what I call knowing what the hell is going on at the moment) and stay out others.

That being said I still have moments when fear, doubt and worry are knocking at my door. That sets me up to be in Reactionary mode and if I run in to the wrong person in that mood, yikes. It is a continual process to simply notice when I am out of my lane (not paying attention to what is happening right now) I am likely to snap in a defensive way. Not my proudest moment. Part of my plan is to have a large menu of ideas I can use any time I need to keep myself on target. I prefer practical fun ideas, that’s why I am drawn like a dog to an unattended T-Bone on a table to Abraham Hicks and Pam Grout, among many others, who make manifesting fun and easy to access, even on today, September 27, 2020.

Even when things look bleak, I do think we are going to come out on the other side of all of this better human beings than we went in. Part of that optimism comes from watching what happened when the Plague hit the world. This is not the first or last time bad things happen or manifest on the planet. We all have to adapt and I think manifesting is still the best way to go.

I love energy tapping and full moon ceremonies. Those are the two things I am going to be focusing on most of all going forward. In fact, this Thursday night, October 1. There really are no short cuts.

Meanwhile, like I said, I routinely use tools that re-route my thinking and remind me to choose my thoughts on purpose. If I need to be sad, angry or upset for a minute, then I am going to be as sad/angry/upset for a minute. The key is, I don’t want to whine about it. When whining, I am wallowing. In times like this, I pick a distraction and then sure enough, before I know it, I feel better.
