Manifesting money seems like a universal theme across the world. In all cultures the need to generate income is common and intense. How can we make it easier?

In all of the study I have done around money magnetism and attraction over the last few years there is no stranger problem than that of common words that carry pain, disappointment or fear.

How can words carry fear and pain? It all happens because of how stories are built and told. Humans LOVE dramatic stories. Look at movies, books, TV shows, You tube and Instagram. We are drawn to things that fascinate. It is just natural.

So why does “money” carry such a negative load? Let me count the ways.

Look at this list. Have you ever had any of these experiences?

  • File for bankruptcy
  • Paid or Received Alimony
  • Credit Card Debt
  • Collected Unemployment
  • Been fired
  • Gone through a law suit
  • Been sued
  • Been mugged
  • Won the lottery
  • Been screwed in any kind of financial dealings
  • Tax debt

The word “Money” is filled with pain for lots of people. That is why I recommend that you find your own friendly name for money. Revenue is mine. Revenue makes me feel good. I love to say the word. Dough Is Money

I love the words bread and dough as it reminds me of food and truth be told, I love cooking and it always brings me to a better mind space. When I think of bread, it makes me want to bake and I feel I already have it in abundance. I always have a bag of flour in my cupboard ready to bake bread at anytime.

And then there is the word treasure. It sounds so mysterious, exotic and fun as if I am a pirate sailing the seas. As a child, I loved walking along the beach looking for the treasures of the seas, the beautiful stones and sea shells.

I had a wonderful session with Catherine Behan this morning, she talked about different words and how they made us feel and how we could replace different words with ones that were more in harmony with our inner being. I think the Thesaurus is now my best friend! Furthermore, what wonderful abundance, her spending time coaching us and helping us learn.
